life is back to normal!

Well the last two weeks have been NO FUN!!! I went into the hospital on a Tuesday with a severe kidney infection and a very large stone…too large to pass, they went in on Wednesday and preformed the first surgery, but had to be very careful because of the infection they risked the infection getting into my bloodstream, he then placed a stent in my kidney to try to drain it…… then Friday they went back in to take the stent out, I had not held food down all week, the infection was finally gone but now I was really week from not eating all week and having two surgeries done and hurting really bad, still. Finally Saturday morning I was able to eat for the first time and keep it down!!! This meant that they could finally take me off of some of my IV meds and cause I could handle them by mouth now!! I was really excited, the Dr. came in and I was certain I was going home, because the next day my girls would be home! WRONG, I still wasn’t ready to go home…..Sunday morning I was finally able to leave!! After spending 6 days and 5 nights in this hospital, only walking down the hall one time, hooked up to IVs, it was finally time for me to go home! My Dad and Wanda Drove all the way to Arkansas to get the girls and they came home Sunday night!! I was so happy, that was the best medicine! Christian was so happy to finally have the girls back!! The girls were so happy to be home, they said they had missed us so much!! Things are looking better, I started back to work working half days and will be back full time Monday, I am ready to be back at work, don’t wanna seem like I’m lazy staying off of work or trying to steal as much time from my job like some people do, ya know? Today is dannys birthday and me and the kids are making him a cake tonight and lasagna for supper!! Mmmmm!!! I can’t wait! My hubby loves my cooking and I love to cook for him, that’s how its supposed to be! He has cooked for us this week and me and the kids were surprised at how good their daddy can cook! I am very blessed with a lot of great friends who have helped out a lot also!

The girls start school Monday so we are going to get their school supplies this weekend, they are excited about going to a new school! When the girls got back, it was like a brick was taken off of me, no more worries….what a great feeling!!! Life is now back to normal and this is how we like it, Christian will be leaving in a couple of weeks and we will be sad to see him go, but we will be planning his next visit!! My school starts back in a couple of weeks and I am excited! I passed my classes with A’s last semester, I hope I can do as well this next time! I will have 3 classes instead of 2, so its gonna be a little bit more pressure, not bad though. I understand that this is what I have to do for my family. Its mine and dannys job to raise them and provide for them and we do it with great pleasure! We love our family and wouldn’t change a thing about it!

Lately…..

The past few weeks have been pretty quite at our house. Its so nice getting to spend time with Danny, recently though our hands have been FULL. Redd had her puppies…..8 this time, last time she had 10 so I was kinda disappointed, but she did a wonderful job!!!!! All the babies are healthy as can be and so is momma!

Christian is doing good, he has been spending alot of time with Dannys parents, some time with Dana’s family and time with us before he has to go back home next month. I think he has grown a Foot since he got here! lol. I swear everytime I look at him he has grown, he is almost as tall as me! Him and Danny like to throw the football and its so relaxing to just watch them, when they don’t even know I’m looking. Christian loves doing things with his Daddy.

I havn’t been able to get a hold of Maddy and Bre but I hear they are doing great. I’m not sure how they’re “vacation” is going, but I did send them a letter last week, I really hope they got it. They will be home on August 2nd just in time for school! I bet they have grown a foot too!

Me and Danny went to the beach for the 4th, we had a blast, but I think Panama City is just way to crowded with young partying kids on holidays….needless to say, I wouldn’t take my kids to PC for a holliday. But me and Danny def. got burnt, 5 hours in the sun will do that to you! I will post pics soon.

The youth Conference is this weekend and me and Danny are Chaperones. We are sooooo excited to see how much these youth and ourselves grow to know the Lord more through this experience.

The past few weeks

Fathers day weekend we took the kids fishing…..

They had a blast and caught some pretty big catfish!!

Maddy’s birthday was a total success, she got a bike, a DS, games for her DS, money, clothes, hair things, lots and lots of good stuff…she said this was the best birthday ever!!!

I would like to talk about my relationship with Dana (Christians mom). I absolutely love Dana, don’t get me wrong, we have had our falling outs, but realized we were not thinking about the important part, Christian, we let the devil take hold of the situation for a second but then we prayed that Jesus would grab hold of it again, and that is what happened, Jesus has made me and Dana friends not only for Christians sake, but for our sake also, Dana is a blessing to have in my life, she encourages me even when she has no idea. She is a very strong and Beautiful woman and I feel blessed that she is in my life, but Dana and I are both Christians, therefore our relationship is “evenly yoked”. The bible tells us about this within a marriage, that a marriage that is “unevenly yoked” will not work, and I do believe that this is the case with any type of relationship we may have.

People take offense in bad situations thinking, “why does my life have to be like this? When is the devil gonna let go???” they don’t realize that they should consider it a blessing to be attacked by satan because that means he knows whos child you are. What a way to think about things huh? My wonderful husband taught me that. My husband is a smart man… God bless everyone and have a safe and wonderful 4^th of july!!!

Happy Fathers Day!

I would just like to take this time to say Happy Fathers Day to all the “Daddy’s” out there. anyone can be a father, but it takes a real man to be a daddy! I’m very thankful for my daddy, him and my mom divorced when I was a baby and left my dad to tend to 3 girls….any other man would have left, any man who wasn’t a real “daddy”. Your children are a blessing from God and if you choose to walk out of their lives, YOU are the one missing out! I learned that after looking back at how much my mom missed in my life, but we can’t take things back and if we could, would we take them back anyways? I had a mom who loved me unconditionaly, she wasn’t my “biological mother” but, SHE raised me. she did the day to day activities with me, she woke me up for school, she made sure I had supper on the table. yeah, I still visited my biological mom, but never had the mother daughter bond with her untill I was older, but being older doesn’t make it better, it makes you wiser! I am so thankful for everything that my daddy did for me in my life and I am thankful for my husband who without his patience, love, caring and thoughtfulness, I could make it…..but I don’t want to….I love him so much! and lets not foret this Father’s Day to be thankful to our..as Gloria would say it…”Big Daddy”, God! Thank you lord for these wonderful men in my life, who keep me a stronger woman but never make me show how strong I am. I can give my worries to the lord, my bills to my husband and my thoughts to my DADDY. Have a great Fathers Day!!

the Busy Bees still need time to rest…..

well…..its finally time to rest this weekend!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, I thought I would stop by and share how are busy weekend was last week.

Danny’s project took off successfuly! Here is  a picture of him with Christian and Leonardo (from church), they helped him Saturday morning at the gym…..

There is still alot of work left to do and with no children this weekend, we will be at the gym first thing Saturday morning.

After the Gym it was time for the Church picnic. There was lots of great food and fun! the kids were trying to catch tadpoles in the pond….that didn’t work out so well though!! but all in all they had a good time, but they were extremely excited about what came next….Christians birthday party!!! they had a blast, we had his party at the Prattville Pool…here is a picture of the cake….

They did a wonderful job, I think! Christian was please as well! he got lots of cool things for his birthday, daddy and Shelly got him a bike, he got lots of outside toys, clothes and MONEY!!! who doesn’t love getting money?

Bre had to show off her skills…lol We are so proud of her and she is so proud of herself….but stay back cause she thinks its funny to “make bubbles” if you know what i mean…lol

We had a complete blast and we are so thankful that we are blessed with these special children, they are a blessing and we wouldn’t trade them for anything. Thank you Jesus!!!

Busy Bee’s

Just thought I would stop by and drop a few lines. My life has been really busy lately. I go to school Monday mornings then go to work. I go to school all day on Tuesdays and I go to school Wednesday mornings and then go to work and work all day Thursday and Friday. I am loving school! Its so exciting learning new things. Christian made it here safe and life for the Pitts family is back to PERFECT! Christians birthday party will be this weekend…..weekend? well its going to be a busy one, we have the church picnic, Christians birthday party and an Eatin meeting after church Sunday. This week is VBS so right after 5 everyday we have been at church all night. The kids are having a blast though and it is so rewarding!!! This is what life is about!! I’m really blessed that my school doesn’t take me away from my children at all! to them its the same as mommy going to work, and I do my homework after they go to sleep. my time I spend with them means the most! Me and Danny are doing great. We are so excited that we get to work together with the youth for VBS. we make the best team!! Fathers day will be coming soon and I can’t wait to show him how much he means to us. He is an awesome father to our children and didn’t have to be, Him and the girls chose this. anyways, I’m trying to plan something great for fathers day, so wish me luck!!

WOW!

wow, its been a while since i posted! The Weekend before last i was stuck at home with pneumonia…..NOT FUN!!!But Danny and the girls had a lemonade stand…They made $59 selling lemonade for 3 hours….how cute is that?

it was also Mothers Day Weekend….I had the best Mothers day EVER!

I got a BlackBerry Curve…that is the most awesome thing since sliced bread!!! I also go a beautiful Orchid…

And the most wonderful cards ever!!!

It really makes you realize how much your children and husband appreciate you. Danny was so good to me while I was sick, I think he was ready for me to be better!

then when it was finally time to join the world again we were moving our office at work…again…NOT FUN…..long days, achy body, its like i went from having Pneumonia to having the flu!!! lol……….finally it was time for the Weekend…..Thank the Lord!!!! So Friday night our friends Jonathon and Michelle came over and we cooked out, we had a blast. Mary Gracen got to spend the night, which made the girls……soooooo excited…….

Saturday, we went to Anna’s Birthday Party….Kayla couldn’t go so we had to take the twins and our girls…..but we all had a blast!!! but by the end of the day, all of the kids were wore slap out!!!

Later that night we ate dinner with my mom, sister, brother-in-law and neices at chappy’s deli…

Sunday was pretty relaxing….we went to church and then we were on a mission to find the girls new shoes…..the hardest job ever because Maddy and Bre are the pickiest children in the world…but they finally found what they were looking for. I think they did a good job….

Montgomery’s Flood

Yesterday Montgomery had an aweful flood. Friends and family lost cars, homes and belongings right here in our own town. Its very tragic. Here are some pics….

Me!

So, I start school in like 3 weeks and I am sooooo excited!…..lately I have been really busy doing things with the youth group as well as working 40 hours a week, taking care of Maddy and Bre and trying to be a great wife to my wonderful husband….sometimes all of the weight can really be hard, thats when I need to step back take a look at what God has given me…for example: my wonderful house, my Hot Husband..hehe! my beautiful children, my wonderful friends and awesome church family, I could not ask for more! this week has been kinda tuff with all of the deaths in the church, but it just makes me more greatful for my life and thankful that God has given me one more day with my family.

Mothers Day is Sunday so I am trying to get my two moms mothers day things ready, I can’t wait for an awesome weekend of more family! my attempt to gain 10 pounds was a success…here is a new pic!

There was alot of stuff donated and it took lots of hard work!!! The girls did awesome though!

Pinky

This is my Pinky Bug! She was the runt of our litter and we sold her, but the folks gave her back, she was named pinky because we didn’t think she would make it when we she was born, so we wanted to name her, and her paws were pink, therefore, i named her pinky……it had nothing to do with her dad’s name being blue…..or her moms name being red….

anyways, i just wanted to interduce everyone to my baby!

Wow! This week has been eventful! Last night Danny took the boys in the church to see “the Power Team”, not sure if any of you know what that is, but it’s awesome (if you don’t know, Google it). Anyways, five of Danny’s boys were saved last night…How awesome is that? I had a great night with the girls as always, we spoke on Jealousy and how evil it is and how it comes from the devil, which is obvious, it’s not a good thing….but we also learned that people get jealous because for some reason they are insecure with their self. I think the girls learned a lot last night. Another subject I would like to discuss is forgiveness. We should always forgive someone when they are wrong, even if they don’t ask for forgiveness. So to all of you folks who have done me wrong, I forgive you, because the bible tells me so!!!!!! Also, when you forgive someone, that subject should not come back up because that means you really haven’t let it go and forgiven the person…..Bro. Cliff taught me that! Any who, Danny is taking the Maddy and Bre tonight to see the Power Team, I might go, not sure yet, I have a lot of stuff to do, I have to pack the girls and do some clothes….if I do go, I will take pics and put them on here…..also, Saturday morning the youth are having a car wash and yard sale at Yarbrough street Baptist church, everyone should stop by and see us!

2. Danny Ledbetter’s father Charles- Massive Heart attack, not doing well

3. Karen Wooten starts chemo next week/ Recovering from a major surgery

4. Nolana Farrar – recovering from a major surgery.

5. The girls at Yarbrough Street Baptist Church…..its tough being a teenager!

…iS oUr PiZzA rEaDy?

WOW! What an Awesome Weekend! Saturday afternoon, me and the girls went to a baby shower for a childhood friend of mine, we had a blast, it was decorated so nicely and all of the food was yummy! The girls had fun getting to spend time with mommy at a girl party! Then we were headed to Beacon of hope to sing! The children and youth did a wonderful job and everyone could just feel the spirit through these young voices! I have to say, I’m very proud of every single one of them!!! Then, it was time for a girls’ slumber party!!!! So, Off to Gloria’s we went, it was me and Gloria and almost all of the youth girls, and Maddy and Bre, they felt really special they got to hang out with the big girls, and the big girls love them to death!!!! So, we began by going on a walk in the dark, then we played whisper, then truth or dare which led us to walmart and we had the girls asking for donations to a booger foundation….LOL……this was so funny! Then we went to pizza hut where we happily annoyed the workers by driving through the drive threw about 10 times screaming “is our pizza ready yet?” and ending it with “jesus loves you”. The employees at pizza hut who work Saturdays at 11:00 pm ROCK! They were awesome sports! They gave us a handful of face tattoos that read “I love pizza” which we all wore on our right cheek to church in the morning…..Our night didn’t end with Pizza Hut though, we went back home and ate our pizza and rested for a min and gave the around about 13 year old girls time to giggle like they love to do! Then we played FEAR FACTOR!!! With all sorts of food, this was so gross, but we had a blast. Now if any of you know Bre, you would know that she absolutely HATES Ketchup!!! So spoon was filled with Ketchup, we had to give her a sucker afterwords for being such a great sport about it! Last but not least, we played a game of trivia…..not sure who really won that game….We ended up in asleep by 2:30am and up for church by 6:30 am……we rolled into church….all of us so tired we only had one eye opened the whole way there..lol….then it was time to worship, I do believe jesus christ is the only thing that kept us away for half of the day! Then two of our youth were baptized yesterday morning, that also will keep you awake! I was so proud of them and it reminded me of the day that I was baptized! I didn’t make it to church last night, I couldn’t get enough sleep yesterday! But now I am rested up and ready for the girls Car Wash/Yard sale Saturday, I think I’m gonna leave Maddy and Bre at home with Danny so they don’t have to get up so early, but I’m sure they will be coming to get a car wash also!…..the Lord has blessed me so much by putting these girls in my life and giving me a friend in Gloria, I feel very blessed and know that this is the road God had planned for me…..Thank you God!!!

nEw dAy!!!!

I just wanted to stop by and tell everyone how much I adore my husband! I thank God everyday for him, he is a great man and a wonderful Father!!! He is my Hero!!! I love him more than anything in this world!!!!! I can’t wait till tonight, we are cooking out cause its my daddy-in-laws b-day! I’m stopping by the store on my way home to pick him up a cake J …..he made my birthday cake, so I was kinda wanting to make his, but with us being so busy lately, I didn’t get to. Have I mentioned lately how much I love working with the youth? The kids and youth are singing Saturday night (can’t name the church we are singing at, because I have people stalking me) but send me a message if you wanna come, its in Montgomery!!!! Anyways, then the youth are bowling, yeah!!! I can’t wait!!! Then we are having a spend the night party!!! Its gonna be awesome! Then two of our youth and one of our adults will be getting baptized Sunday morning….I can’t wait, this weekend will be awesome!!!

How Satan Works

So………..Easter was good, after Bre got over her little ear infection thing, we were able to take the kids to see Hannah Montana……….it ROCKED!!!!! We had a great time when Christian was here, but was sad to see him have to leave . The kids had fun decorating Easter Eggs and Hunting them. The Easter Bunny brought them awesome baskets filled with lots of goodies!

I have had a lot on my mind lately, one of my BFF’s, Nolana which is also the girls’ aunt is having surgery today, last week her mom was diagnosed with Cancer. Mrs. Wooten (Nolana’s Mom) had surgery yesterday, and like I said, Nolana’s is today. These two have both been on my mind and hearts and I just ask everyone to remember this family and keep them in your prayers.

Also, I would like to say how happy and lucky I am to have my family! The devil tries to come into our lives in many forms and if we let him in, he wins. I have decided he is not welcome anywhere near our family and have made a very hard decision, but one that had to be made to protect my girls.  We finally have a great life and have found happiness, and know that God gave us this life because we deserve it. We will not let Satan in our minds or in our home. We are the PITTS family and we are strong through the Lord Jesus Christ. Today is a brand new day!!

my Weekend!!!

Wow! This weekend was very busy! We spent Saturday spring cleaning and redecorating Christians room, which was a total success!!!! His face when he walked into his bedroom was priceless! We are so excited about all of the plans we have in store for this week.

I on the other hand……am wore slap out! After church yesterday, I had about 12 of the youth girls and my two girls at my house for hot dogs, then we went around the neighborhood witnessing to neighbors, telling them about our church and inviting them….on FOOT! I have to say, I thought for sure by halfway down the first street Bre would be crying that her legs hurt, but she stayed strong! I am very proud of all of the girls, we passed out 200 flyers!!!! Way to go girls!!!!……then, back to church it was! After church the kids and youth practiced singing for Tuesday night, when we will be at the beacon of Hope……This weekend was exciting but very tiring…..MY legs hurt BAD!!!! But, my house is clean, my family is all together and I couldn’t be more happier with my life!

ok, so now that everyone knows who I am….by pics!!! I can start my Journal!!! Today is going to be a good day! yesterday wasn’t so HOT! but today is the day! I have a certain test tomorrow that is not going to be fun so everyone keep me in your prayers and hope for the best! we have church tonight and we get Christian this Weekend for one week!!! we are excited and are thinking that we may suprise all of our children and take them to see Hannah Montana’s new movie on the day it comes out!! YES!!!! I even wanna see it!

life is good….I love my Hubby with all my heart! hope everyone is having a great day!!! I will write again later….when more happens in my life!
